Mediation is a choice to resolve conflict, in a safe and neutral context, where two people who may have very different ideas about what the outcome should be, find a solution that they can both live with.
Each one of you is different and so are your views and beliefs. This is especially true when you are getting a divorce or having family disputes. Your differences, along with your feelings of hurt, anger, frustration or disillusionment can result in you becoming stuck in a cycle of escalating conflict, which can be devastating for you and for your family, especially for your children. Choosing mediation empowers you to break this cycle!
Family Mediation is a choice to try to resolve your family or relational disputes without litigation.
Our areas of focus include, inter alia:
- Divorce and separation – division of assets / maintenance / child contact
- Parenting plans
- Relocation of one or both parents
- Family disputes
We use a co-mediation model. This means that you have two mediators working with you – a legal and a psychologist mediator.
This model works and gives you the best chance of success, which is why we offer it to clients at the same rate as if you had one mediator!
